Benefits of Membership

Consistent with its mission, IPEBLA brings together lawyers around the world to share their knowledge of pension and benefits law.

• The next International Biennial Conference will be taking place in Dublin in 2026! Stay tuned for exciting details including speaking opportunities, the opening of registration, hotel booking information, and a full set of conference programming and social tours. The Biennial Conference is a members-only event so it is important to renew now or submit a membership application.
• The 2025 Off Year Conference will be held in Toronto, Canada. Further details will be shared in due course.
• Members will be invited to regional networking events, including virtual happy hours/coffee chats, that may be happening throughout 2025-26.
• IPEBLA members have access to the Members Only section of IPEBLA's website. Members are provided with passwords to access this section. This section includes an archive of journal articles, past conference papers, the membership directory, and steering committee minutes.

• IPEBLA  publishes a quarterly journal for members: International Pension Lawyer. Members are encouraged to participate by writing articles for the publication. 

• Members can become involved with a number of different committees such as the Regulatory/Policy Working Group and the Global Executive Compensation Working Group.

• Members have access to the IPEBLA Membership Directory.

• Members receive a free copy of IPEBLA’s Comparative Survey of Pension law Issues (now in its 4th edition), covering 25 jurisdictions.
